MISSION OF THE L10
FREEDOM RIDE

The mission is to wholly support and work toward the release of The Leavenworth 10, a group of soldiers/Marines incarcerated at Ft. Leavenworth for killing members of Al-Qaeda or Iraqi insurgents. These decorated and committed soldiers/Marines who honorably served their country—achieving a significant number of combat medals over multiple deployments—are now serving sentences ranging between 10 and 40 years. They and their families have fallen victim to the untenable Rules of Engagement, demoralizing “Catch and Release” policies, and climate of political correctness that govern our troops’ actions while trying to survive a combat zone.

While these soldiers/Marines have been judged very harshly by the military, our military leadership is currently releasing imprisoned enemy combatants back to the battlefield. We request the same mercy for these troops, many of whom have been denied clemency time and again. The Leavenworth 10 do not pose any threat and deserve to be returned to their families.

Please take the time to read their stories, and if you believe they should not be forgotten and left behind, then join us September 4, 2010 for a Freedom Ride to bring awareness to their cases and most importantly let these soldiers/Marines know that we wholly and completely support each of them.

What do you see in this picture? Is it after the earthquake in Haiti? Maybe it is the devastation from a volcano, with all of it's ash?
Could it be what was left over after the water subsided after Katrina?

Take a better look folks! This is no natural disaster!

This is Ground Zero after America was brutally attacked on 9/11/2001!

Do you want to know why I am marching on 9/11/2010?

I was once a soldier. I have many family members and friends who either were or are soldiers. I have nieces and nephews, as well as
cousins in Iraq or Afghanistan. I was once on alert for the Operation Desert Storm back in 1991.

Our soldiers take up arms all the time to GO and fight the enemy! And we "Support Our Troops" whenever they do.

I am not about to let the ENEMY  that is HERE within our country STEAL IT AWAY from us while our soldiers put their lives on the line fighting
the ENEMY that is elsewhere!

If you believe the same as I do, then take a stand!

Come honor our troops at the 9/11 Memorial. But then tighten up the straps on your boots, stand up straight, and MARCH! Show our troops that
we are fighting the enemies here while they fight the enemies elsewhere! Stand up for FREEDOM, LIBERTY, AND JUSTICE... FOR AMERICA!!!

Join me Sept. 9-12, 2010 in Washington, DC! http://marchondc.org

Sad thing is, many of our Vietnam Veterans still have NEVER BEEN THANKED for their service and major sacrifices for our country. If you come into contact with a Vietnam Veteran - please thank him/her. You will come in contact with many in DC in Sept. They love our country and are still serving her. God Bless all our Veterans and Troops!

About four years ago I had friended a Vietnam Veteran on Stumble Upon. I thanked him for his service and told him of my heart felt appreciation for him, his brothers and sisters who served. He answered back, told me he was in tears because not one person had ever thanked him for his service and sacrifices. We communicated almost daily online. About 4 months later I didn't hear anything from him. That continued for about 6 months. I continued trying to make contact. His son had gotten on his computer and found our communications. He let me know his father had died. His son was so touched that I, a stranger, who didn't personally know his father the Veteran - thanked him. To this day, I'm friends with this veterans family.
